Dr. James A. Moore is our Pastor. He began his ministry at FBC in July 1994. He is a graduate of Gardner-Webb College, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Columbia Theological Seminary. He and his wife Karen are the parents of two adult daughters, Stephanie and Amie. Jimmy has a special interest in preaching, international missions, and amateur photography. 

Dr. Gregory Barmer is our Minister of Music. He began his ministry at FBC in May 1995. He is a graduate of East Carolina University, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and the Institute of Worship Studies. He and his wife Lisa are the parents of two children, Sarah and Andrew. Greg is an active pianist and choral conductor in the community. He has a special interest in worship renewal and meaningful worship experiences for our congregation. 

Mrs. Joy Stallings is our Director of Children's Ministry and Outreach.   She and her husband Chase have lived in Washington for almost ten years and are actively involved at First Baptist and in the community.  Joy has a heart for ministry.  She has a desire to work with First Baptist and the Children's Ministry as we love, lead, and teach the importance of reaching outside the church walls to bring the love of Christ to others.  Joy and Chase have two children, Hope and Hundley. 

Reverend  Bryan Lee has been our Minister of Youth and Education since January 2011. He is a graduate of Campbell University Divinity School undergraduate and graduate programs. Bryan has a heart for youth ministry and strives to see youth take on a life changing faith. He and his wife Annie love international missions and outdoor activities.

Mrs. Teresa West is our Church Secretary.  Teresa has been at First Baptist since 2002 .   Typically, she is the first person you will meet when visiting our Church Office.  Teresa is married to Billy and is the mother of  two adult daughters, Ashley and Amanda.   Teresa is an active member of Christ Vision Church and views her work at First Baptist as a ministry.  She is very willing to assist members and guests alike with questions concerning First Baptist or any of our programs. 

Mrs. Nita Purvis serves as our Financial Secretary.  Nita and her husband Connell live in Washington, and are active members at First Baptist. Nita and Connell have two adult children and four grandchildren.  Prior to taking on the responsibilities of Financial Secretary, Nita served as our church pianist for a number of years.

Mr. Ernest Brown serves as our church custodian.   He arrives early each morning and is always eager to help make our facilities as accommodating as possible for members and guests alike.  Ernest is married to Tyra, and they have two adult daughters and two grandchildren.

Mrs. Alma Evett is our church organist.   Alma and her husband Gilbert live in Washington and are active members at First Baptist.  They own and operate GAE Enterprises Inc., a real estate brokerage firm.  Alma and Gilbert have four adult children and ten grandchildren.

Ms. Barbara Owens is our pianist.  Her family lives in Washington and she has worked with USDA-Rural Development for 28 years.  She has a great love for music and has played the piano since the age of 13 and has served FBC for 12 of those years. 

Reverend Cipriano Moreno is the pastor of our Hispanic Mission Church.  Cipriano has served the Alpha and Omega Mission Church since 1994.  He lives in Washington, along with his wife Petra and three children:  Rebecca, Berenice, and Abisai.  Cipriano is a graduate of the Hispanic Baptist Theological Seminary in San Antonio, Texas.
